INCLUDES AN EXCLUSIVE BONUS STORY about the medieval Secret Order of the Unicorn

Unicorns are real.
(At least we think they are.)

Are you ready to protect the creatures of myth and legend? Then you belong in The Unicorn Rescue Society. HURY-THE CREATURES NED YOU

Elliot Eisner isn't exactly thrilled with the first day at his new school. His class is going on a field trip to a creepy forest called the Pine Barrens. The trip is being led by Professor Fauna, the weirdest teacher
Elliot has ever met. And the only kid who will talk to Elliot, Uchenna Devereaux, isn't afraid of danger. She likes danger.

Elliot and Uchenna are about to become part of a secret group of adventurers, The Unicorn Rescue Society, whose goal is to protect and defend the world's mythical creatures. Together with Professor Fauna, Elliot and Uchenna must help rescue a Jersey Devil from a duo of conniving, greedy billionaires, the Schmoke Brothers.

Join Elliot and Uchenna on their very first quest as members of the Unicorn Rescue Society in this fantasy-adventure series from Adam Gidwitz, the beloved bestselling and Newbery Honor-winning author of The Inquisitors Tale and A Tale Dark & Grimm.

Illustrated throughout, this is the perfect fit for newly independent readers looking for a story full of adventure, fun, and friendship.

   Hard to put down!
This was a favorite in our house. The only complaint was that the story was so interesting that I could not convince my son to agree to a stopping point. Whenever I said we’d stop at the end of a scene or chapter, he’d beg to continue. Anytime, First Time Ever! Show Me! ''

Great read for elementary school kids
This book could easily be read independently by a 2nd-3rd grader, but it so happens that I read it to my 7-year-old. The only thing I could complain about is the name of the series unicorn rescue society. Initially, my son was quite sceptical, because the title seemed too girly to him.

   Great children’s book
I bought this book for my 7 year old daughter during the quarantine when the libraries were closed. Before the lockdown, we would go to the library and my daughter would have finished 3-5 books on the way home before we even got to the home. So I had her brought to chapter books that could challenge her and keep her engaged. This was perfect : There are a few works that she did not know how to read or what they meant, but it was the perfect opportunity to teach her vocabulary and expand her new words. My goal was to get her to read a chapter a day so much that she loved it so much that she would read 3-4 chapters in a single sitting.

   6yo can’t put it down!
My 6 year old is positivity obsessed with this book. We tried to get her to read chapter books before, but she lost interest quickly. Not so with this one ; we had to tell her that she had to stop reading and go to sleep the last night. She was so proud to tell us that she was on chapter 5. She immediately woke up that morning and wanted to read more. So much thanks for a book that can not be put down!

It’s not a very good deal.
I should say subscription. It was not a level of reading alone for my grandchild. Be careful when ordering for bundles.

Awesome story 6 year old loves it!
The short chapters are great and really provide a sense of accomplishment as she moves through the book. She read the first on in a day and couldn t wait to get started on the 2nd. Will get the rest as she loves to have the stories she knows with characters.

This book does not have unicorns in it.
I like unicorns too, the idea of a unicorn rescue society sounded great, so we ordered the book. There are no unicorns in this book, and I and my daughter were very disappointed. But we were hoping to read about a society that rescues unicorns, we stopped reading the book and ordered some My Little Pony books, and are much happier now if you want a book about unicorns or rescuing unicorns, this book is not for you.
