Book Overview

From the world's foremost expert on power and strategy comes a daily devotional designed to help you seize your destiny.

Robert Greene, the #1 New York Times bestselling author, has been the consigliere to millions for more than two decades. Now, with entries that are drawn from his five books, plus never-before-published works, The Daily Laws offers a page of refined and concise wisdom for each day of the year, in an easy-to-digest lesson that will only take a few minutes to absorb. Each day features a Daily Law as well--a prescription that readers cannot afford to ignore in the battle of life. Each month centers around a major theme: power, seduction, persuasion, strategy, human nature, toxic people, self-control, mastery, psychology, leadership, adversity, or creativity.

Who doesn't want to be more powerful? More in control? The best at what they do? The secret: Read this book every day.

Daily study, Leo Tolstoy wrote in 1884, is necessary for all people. More than just an introduction for new fans, this book is a Rosetta stone for internalizing the many lessons that fill Greene's books and will reward a lifetime of reading and rereading.

   For those starting out
Green is an insightful author, and this is a decent book. This work is for people at the beginning of life. Looking to build a career and a life. I have learned a lot of the lessons along the way and have few if any regrets. When I graduated from college, I needed this book because I didn't know what I wanted to do. If you take the wisdom seriously, you will benefit greatly. The publisher is likely to get a critique. If you date them from Jan 1 to Dec 31 they will be better. No matter when you start it, it feels more accommodating.

Each word is used to the fullest!
The format of the book is very nice. Powerful insights and advice are delivered daily. I read slowly but think about what I read for longer. This book is very good.

   Book came in horrible shape
The book is 5 stars but the sleeve is in a bad shape and a couple pages on the bottom are torn.

   Great book
I would buy anything that this author writes, but he didn't just write another book to sell, he really wrote a book that matters. He covered a lot of topics. They are random and written well. I am glad I got this book.

The essential guide to understanding how people really work
Since his first book, The 48 Laws of Power, I have been a huge fan of Robert Greene. He helps us understand how people work. His new book is a collection of snippets from his previous books and is presented in a daily format. This is a great way to learn about the genius of Robert Greene. I can't recommend the book enough. Kent is the host of The Daily Writer.

   Already Loving It
Fans of Robert's work will love this treat. His books are highlighted and labeled. The daily reader is similar to the notes collected into one place for easy reading. Despite his health troubles, he continues to produce. It is hoped that it is the first of many more books.

   Content is a 10, physical book a 0
I tried to open the book and keep it open, but it broke. This is a devotional and is meant to be used daily.
