Book Overview

For the first time ever in a single boxed set, all of Stephen King's eight Dark Tower novels--one of the most acclaimed and popular series of all time--soon to be a major motion film starring Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey.

Set in a world of ominous landscape and macabre menace, The Dark Tower series features one of Stephen King's most powerful creations--The Gunslinger--a haunting figure who embodies the qualities of the lone hero through the ages, from ancient myth to frontier Western legend. As Roland crosses a desert of damnation in a treacherous world that is a twisted image of our own, he moves ever closer to the Dark Tower of his dreams--and nightmares.

This stunning, must-have collection includes: The Dark Tower I: The Gunslinger; The Dark Tower I: The Drawing of the Three; The Dark Tower I: The Waste Lands; The Dark Tower IV: Wizard and Glass; The Dark Tower: The Wind Through the Keyhole; The Dark Tower V: Wolves of the Calla; The Dark Tower VI: Song of Susannah; and The Dark Tower VI: The Dark Tower. The perfect keepsake for Stephen King fans, The Dark Tower 8-Book Boxed Set is the most extraordinary and imaginative cycle of tales in the English language from the reigning King of American popular literature (Los Angeles Daily News).

   Mint condition
Wow! That was pretty impressive, Mr. Rule told us. It's great to have such a good box set. The product arrived quickly and looks great, Mr. Dhaliwal said. I was afraid because of the mixed reviews about receiving the wrong thing, but I got it all and in mint condition! My reason for the 4 stars literally the day I got it went on sale for like $US10 less than what I paid. The movie's makers wasted no time in announcing that it would be a smash hit. It's not even a removable sticker I'm just picky about these things.

   Favorite series. Worth the buy!
Received my set last week and I'm already on set for the second season. I'm not even going to lie: My favourite book series ever. This will be my third time reading these books, and I seriously can't get enough. Nicely made and very much worth the money to have the whole set of cables for your own.

   So close
It would be five stars, but wind through the key hole wasn't written until 2012 and is absolutely not the fifth book. The writer of this terrible parable in the "Ethics" series is not reading the entire book.

   Read these books!
Barrenas said that although the government had initially opposed the move, it now has "100 percent support." For the many who think Stephen King is the King of horror, I suggest you put down It and move on to The Long Walk, the Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon, or Insomnia. He is also a very versatile writer who writes about the human condition, not just horror. The second and third books in the "Dark Tower" series were written by Richard B. Mallon and Thomas Pike. The New York Jets are preparing for a rematch with the Atlanta Falcons. Turner said he had never met Dr. Barrera, but added: "He's got a very good reputation." This is very impressive, said Blair. The price, for example, is $390 for a one-hour consultation. Seconds later, we learn that Mr. Ha'penny was right. Note that this is a collector's series, and that my son bought it in pieces. The boy had picked up book 8 from a used book store for $2,800. The first buyer could not believe I got this entire collection for 70$. Convinced that you'll never go back to see the Dark Tower movies, Mr. Rule told his employees to expect surprise. The team has a knack of taking most King books and destroying them on the screen. Some of the movies that made big money are "Stand By Me," "The Green Mile" and "Shawshank Redemption." The Dark Tower had the potential to be a great movie, with an excellent cast, but it was a stinker.

   Disappointed.
Leaving aside the legal challenges, why not leave the books as is? Stephen King did not hesitate to call the book "outdated." I'm reading his entire collection from beginning to end. I still want to stop buying from Amazon or kindle and find the originals in the library. I'd really, really, really like to do that again, Mr. Rule told the judge. Guess the I'm going to try to get original copies of the book, rather than buying them here.

   Flawless.
I'm impressed. There is only one insignificant detail on the copy of the waste lands that I display in the photo, but it isn't a problem for me and the bookset is flawless. I went through every copy and every page and they smell fresh, so I was not expecting any dents or scratches. The product is rated 5 stars by Amazon. com. The seller responded immediately with a thorough answer that was very helpful, Mr. Dhaliwal said. Great seller, said Vincent. The product is extremely high quality, excellent customer support, and incredibly low price. Note the instructions for removing books from the bookcase. The sliders are made of three sheets of cardboard that act as sliders. Simply insert the book protectors on each side of the book you're removing, and the book slides out as displayed in the photo above.

So glad I took the plunge and read this series.
It was my son-in-law who encouraged me to read the entire series. He said he read it when the books came out and mentioned to me that he would have to re-read some of the books to put it all together. Because of this, I hesitated to read Mr. Powell's book. The boxed set arrived with all the books, but I still had to read them all. I believe it was easier to read as a complete series of books than it was to read one or two installments. As I read, I learned so much about the author that helps me to understand Stephen King and that makes his books a better read, Myers said. Stephen King's books are on so many different levels, and the Dark Tower series is even more so, it's just too good to be true. I enjoyed how he made himself part of the story and told of his problems completing the series, Morgenthau said. I am at a loss now what to do tomorrow since I finished reading The Dark Tower last night, he said. This is a true separation anxiety disorder.

Nicely packaged, pleased that it includes The Wind Through the Keyhole, huge hit with a non-fan
I actually bought this as a present for my dad, who reads constantly but doesn't tend to read fantasy, horror or Stephen King. He told me it would be a while until he got started because of deadlines, he said. Two days later he told me, jokingly, that he was very mad at me for getting him hooked on this series, as he has been unable to put the books down and binged the first three novels in two days, ignoring deadlines and emails. D. Scott Dixon, CEO of Sprint Nextel, said the company will review its capital structure and make changes if necessary.

I loved the fact I did not have to track down ...
It was my first Christmas with my granddaughter and I couldn't be happier. I'm thrilled that I didn't have to track down all the books to buy them. She started with a book in the middle of the series that she didn't realize she was reading out of sequence. It was a mixture of an old western, some 14th century chivalry and good old fashioned on the edge of your seat reading, Raymond said. The Stand was my favorite book, but this one was a close second. This is totally worth the price of the set, Tunick said.

   Entertaining and Long
I'm not typically a fiction reader, but when one of the great writers of an era calls his magnum opus, you read it. That was the only thing I ordered that got me to order this boxed set. It's a great story, taking the reader on many different worlds and meeting interesting characters along the way. Stephen King is, without a doubt, one of the 20th century's great writers. The book, which has sold more than 4 million copies, is also a daunting read. Even though the story was good, I found myself ready for the last book to be over so I could start some other books I had on hand. As King himself admits, the story is more about the journey than the ending. For anyone who has the time, I think it's worth reading. You won't ever be sorry to say you finished Stephen King's "The Dark Knight."
