Book Overview

Zounds Spaceman Spiff, Stupendous Man, the ferocious tiger Hobbes, and the rest of Calvin's riotous imagination are all included in The Days Are Just Packed.

Calvin, the self-proclaimed Boy of Destiny, continues to save the universe with his alter egos, Spaceman Spiff and Stupendous Man, at least until Miss Wormwood or his mother bring him back to reality. Susie, Calvin's nemesis and love interest, remains Calvin's favorite target. And when he's not recovering from a ferocious tiger attack, Calvin creates hideous snowmen, plays a moral cat-and-mouse game with Santa, conducts his infamous Dad polls, and combats the monsters under his bed.

   Not Adapted for Kindle Readers
I've fallen in love with the book, and wanted to get the Kindle version. However, the content seems to have been scanned in. It has no formatting to adapt to a Kindle Reader on a Nexus 7 or iPad. You cannot zoom in to make them legible.

   Great fun!
I just love this kindle book and Calvin's wild imagination. It reminds me of the simple days of my childhood.

   Love Calvin and Hobbes!
I read these books first when I was in high school, and was so pleased to find another collection that I hadn't read. My children and I enjoy this book so much, Ms. Pearson said.

   best comic
Fulfills needs more than just a warehouse. Nothing is better than this product at the moment. Highly recommended to anyone with its low price as well!

Clever, Charming, Funny, Heart-Warming and Fun for All Ages
Funny, intelligent, and heart-warming. The adventures that Calvin and Hobbes have together are legendary. Like the digital editions of "Homicidal Psycho Jungle" and "Attack of the Deranged Mutant Monster Killer Snow Goons," this one has the ability to zoom and pan on the pages. This highly-appreciated feature allows one to fully experience the details of one of the great comics ever created, particularly with the more dense and lush full-color Sunday edition panels. The are a few that are duplicates between the other three books I've read and reviewed, but with treasuries such as this, that's not entirely unexpected and the duplicates are still funny. Overall, an excellent, highly recommended digital volume.

   A pure classic.
This is a classic Calvin and Hobbes book that has stood the test of time. I recently purchased a copy for a nephew because I refused to buy more video games, dvd's, etc. I was stoked to see that he picked up on it and love the stories just as much as I had when I was a kid. The bottom line is that these stories are classic and unlike the fleeting nature of storytelling of television movies, Calvin and Hobbes have stood the test of time. The Days Rrem Packed are an excellent example of the series.

   Marvelous and Wondrous
Calvin and Hobbes stand in a class by themselves. The complete set includes all the strips, plus the bonus pages. The Days are Just Packed, There's a Treasure Hunter, Attack of the Deranged Mutant Killer Snow Goons, It's a Magical World and The Authoritative Calvin and Hobbes. If you're a die-hard fan, this is the only way to go.

Carry Calvin and Hobbes with you everywhere
I have been collecting Calvin and Hobbes figurines and other stuff for a long time. I was the um... Her, dinosaur, and all. As I have trouble holding books these last years, having the opportunity to reread them via Kindle is a blessing. I used to reread my collection every winter, but now I can. There will be water balloon battles, sled riding philosophical discussions, snow art exhibits, dinosaurs and tiger tummies.

   Always a smile
The nostalgia of childhood is often profound. As a parent and former child, I declare it a historical rendition of escapism provided by a good imagination.

Best cartoon series that ever was or ever will be!
Bill Watterson is a God-given genius. He's not only an artist, but, most importantly, a wise philosopher and critic of the world in which we find ourselves. He retired years ago, but his work is still relevant today. I love the deluded little Calvin, Hobbes, and his poor, sweet parents. I have most of the series. Took one of the books to my fifth-grade classes. They wore it completely out—not one mark of graffiti on the whole book, which showed their appreciation and love for it. The child came from the handling of hundreds of little hands. Thanks, Bill Watterson. Wish you had more of this pure gold in you.
