   It is great for children younger then that also
The big is a hit with my kids. It is great for children younger. It teaches colors, repetition and has a fun rhythm. It's a quick read and I like it. The pictures are very cute. We made a felt story board to go along with it and it's a big hit. The kids love reading the book and putting up a new image on the felt board. It stays with the kids. Audrey Wood is a genius. My 4 year old is a huge fan of her other book.

A wonderful story that reinforces color words. I like the pictures, repetitive text, and the color words highlighted by their color. My kindergarten students and my grandchildren loved it. Highly recommend.

The book is a wonderful story, however, it wasn't in good condition as advertised. There were tapes all over the page.

There was only one bad thing about one of the copies, which had large crease in the cover and pages. I wouldn't consider that a good condition. The kids love the story.
