   Mystery and history
Major events of the time are brought to life in this enjoyable coming- of- age story. A case of historical significance is the result of several mysteries being addressed by the protagonists. The first female detective was employed by the Pinkerton company. It's a great way to read for boys and girls, as well as historical fiction lovers.
