Lovely Illustrations
Derived From Web , Feb 14, 2022
It's a familiar plot line. 3 brothers set out on a quest to save the kindgom. The two older ones fail and the youngest, who seems the least likely, succeeds and gets the maiden who is very worthy and they all live happily ever after. It is told well and the illustrations are great. When buying a book to read to children, I always need many of these. I can't say enough about the used book program from Amazon. I have bought several through it and all of them have been very affordable.

The paintings are the star of this book
Derived From Web , Feb 14, 2022
There are some nice paintings in this book of a Thomas Kinkade- flavor with a derrivative simplistic story and, to be completely honest, I found myself skimming the brief story as it's really the artwork that's the star of this book. The characters look a little too modeledstaged, but it is nicely done. A fun and colorful book for young readers.

Sanderson's "Enchanted Wood"
Derived From Web , Feb 14, 2022
This story teaches so much that it's not weak. Lessons to be learned include the folly of selfishness. The pitfalls of the opposite character trait are modeled. When the enchantment was gone, the one temptation that ruled each of the first two princes was all smoke and mirrors. There was only hack marks in the trees. In real life, the things that detour us from a noble purpose are often irrelevant.

Beautiful artwork. Inspiring story that imparts some wisdom!

I like this book. When my grand baby gets a little older, I will find it again to read to him. I have many fond memories of reading this to my son. The lessons within the story are what he remembers. Awesome and well illustrated. I highly recommend.
