   Poorly written
I've read other books by Dr. Amen, and found lots of useful information, Morgenthau said. He is a true expert, with lots of wisdom to share, Dr. Goin said. This book is so poorly written, I can't recommend it to anyone. Obviously, Dr. Amen doesn't write books himself, he hires professional services writer for that. Whoever he chose to help him pen the book seemed like a bad choice. Literally, every page is littered with endless abbreviations along the lines S is for Sleep, G is for Genetics, etc etc. Every page is filled with these instructions. It would be great to have some advice from KISS, Sir Paul McCartney said. It's just that terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible,

   Celebrity doctor? No thanks
If he was a neuroscientist he would know that ADHD is a neurological developmental disorder and can't be "fixed". Neurological disorders happen in the womb and are hereditary. You can't heal a part of your brain that is missing.

   An Eye Opener
I found this book to be an eye opener. I battle with mental illness half my life and thought I was going to die on meds for life. I have learned that changing a few things I am eating can make a world of difference, Cheri said. I will inform others to read this book so they can get to know Jesus.

Outstanding, comprehensive tour de force for health of your brain, body, and mind
I've read so many health books over the years, particularly when I was studying for my doctorate degree in naturopathy. What Dr. Amen teaches meshes so well with what I've learned and experienced over the years for great health and longevity, said Blair. His knowledge, experience and recommendations for healthy diet, herbs, vitamins, nutraceuticals, exercise and communicating with God through prayer are truly remarkable. His communication skills in this book and in his videos show his compassion, humor, and deep knowledge. Amen, Amen. God bless you and your loved ones and the work you do that has helped so many, Raymond said.

Homerun for anyone struggling with mental illness
As a resident of the Columbia University School of Medicine, I am in love with this book. Amen is spot on with his insights into brain health. It is foolish to think that what you eat and the supplements you take won't have a dramatic effect on your brain, mood and health. You are what you eat and what you eat has a significant effect on your neurotransmitters, moods and thoughts, the researchers said. Read this book, follow what it says, and you will be able to help yourself and anyone with mental illness that you love and care about, she said.

   Very good book.
Rolfe, who has had a spect scan, said: "I think it's great to have someone who has had a scan." This is not from the amen clinic, but from a different company. Thanks for the help! It's a really good book. The book goes into great detail on different approaches to treating mental illness. Like all supplements, vitamins D3 can help with depression. Dr. Abraham's books are great for anyone dealing with mental illness. But it's important to remember that, even if you get everything you want, it may not always be one size for all. I still hope one day I could meet him. This book is one of his best.

   Fascinating
In "Take Charge of Your Health and your Cognitive Disabilities," Thomas DeVries offers a wealth of information to help you take charge of your health and your cognition. It is easy to read and understand, and trust Me, says Dr. Chester Floyd.

   On The Right Track...
Amen has the right track to change the way we think about psychiatry and mental health. The book, "The Root Cause of Common Mental Illness," addresses the root-cause of such common mental illness which you won't learn about by visiting your neighborhood psychiatrist.

   Nothing New to this Book
Even if he did, I don't know why Dr. Daniel Amen wrote it.
