Nicole Trope has written four books that I have read. You can't put them down once you start! One of the best psychological thrillers I have ever read was The Family Across The Street. The ending was so shocking that I stopped reading. I had to re-read it twice because it blew me away. I didn't see that coming. I will read her books. You can't stop reading when you start. You set there reading with your mouth open because each page is another revelation, one you never could have guessed.

   Wow!!! Read it in three days --
This was a great book. I could not put it down. When I put it down for unimportant things, such as sleep, dinner, and work, I found myself thinking about the characters in the book. I was reading a book.

This book was portrayed as a suspense novel. It's not exciting to hurt women and children. Way to violent.

   On and on and on it goes
The basic story is good, but I would have raised it to three stars if it wasn't stretched past my brwaking point. Readers are drawn out in attempts to place them in the minds of criminals, victims and bystanders. The book would have benefited from more aggressive editing.

   Overhyped
I should know not to buy a book on Amazon with flashy headings. The twins live with their parents in a good neighborhood. Gladys noticed that the twins didn't go out to school. John screeched off in the car after a fight with Katherine. A delivery guy tried to deliver a computer but it wasn't accepted by Katherine. The story takes place in a day and I didn't like the twist.
