   H.E.A.T.
A true fan of Carl Weber's novels knows to expect nothing but the best. This second installment does not disappoint his readers. The Duncan family is even more interesting, domineering and in their greed even more crafty. My reviews don 't spoil the book for readers. I recommend that you buy this book and get comfortable. You won 't want any interruptions. I am also a Treasure Hernandez fan and these two authors write well together. The tone of the story overall doesn 't change so much that you know that someone new is writing with Weber. I can 't wait for part three.

   Great read!
This book was selected as my December Book Clubs selection. I started reading it a week ago and couldn t put it down. Carl Weber has always been an author I have enjoyed so I was glad to read another book for him that didn 't disappoint. Now I haven't read the first The Family Business and honestly after reading the 2nd book in the series, I felt that reading the 1st book wasn 't necessary. From explicit drug distributions to strategic sex scenes, this book dealt with more than hood wealth '', it showed the strength and closeness of the family. I loved the book and thought it was well written and raw!

   The family tree is still rotting.
I went through this book so fast! I could not stop! The Duncan family has found another way to get more cash, and it's with the new creation of a drug called H.E.A.T. Sales will go through the roof with this product, and the profit margin alone will put the Duncans on the top of the drug game. This made for a really tight story with the backbiting alone and the introduction of Sasha. I know that my co-workers asked me to read it, and I am glad that I did! Now that Vegas is coming in, I'm ready for the finale. I don 't know who is going to be the co-author on this one, but I hope they are able to keep the pace.

   I just need more ...
Family Business 2 was our selection of the month and of course, I had to read the first book. Well, I finished the first book in maybe a day and the second in about 3 days. When I say that Erika wrote a page for Carl Weber and Treasure Hernandez, it is the truth. I couldn t get enough of this book. I found myself in meetings with my phone and reading just a few sentences to get me through. The Family Business series has made me a fan of Carl Weber, and I am now checking out his co-authors'work as well. I '' am so prepared for FB3 that I can hardly contain myself.

Since last year, I have waited to read part two and I can 't wait until next year to read part 3. This is a must read, but you have to first read Family Business to understand the history fully. I love the addition of Trent and I am trying to figure out what book Sasha was in, it will eventually come to me lol. I can 't wait to see what happens with Ruby, Orlando and Vinnie. The Duncan family is on fire and I am ready to know everything about them... can not wait for Paris's book to drop... please don 't make us wait too long. Carl Weber is a master and I love his work!

I say again, daaaamn - another home run novel, this time out of the box! Great writing and story line, all characters are phenomenal, dangerous and unpredictable. Thank you Carl and Treasure for such great reading, I enjoyed both novels immensely, definitely a page turner, sit on the edge of your seat can 't wait to the next segments. I highly recommend this novel ; you will not be disappointed. NOTE NOTE : Make sure you read part 1 first to get the full effect of the storyline.

   Awesome! Ready for the 3rd!
This book was great, it was good! Amazing! There was talk in the book about who was Sonya's husband, as if he was some big shot, but then was never mentioned again. I kept this noted as the story progressed to the ending. From the first book, I wanted to know more about Vegas, this book did not satisfy that one bit, but the cliff hanger is that the next book will be about Vegas. He has been an interesting character for me. Looking forward to The Family Business 3 : The Return of Vegas

   Addicted to the Heat!!!
Eventually, I managed to get addicted to this series. It has been a long time since I found a page turner that held my attention and had me skipping meals and sleep in order to know what happens next. That said, I will admit that there were areas of disappointment and inconsistencies. A few REALLY? Then : Although annoying, not so much to the point that I am not looking forward to the next installment. Great storyline overall. Just be sure to double the check time lines and consistency. Good job, John!

I liked the book, but could not wait to read it, then hated the way it ended. I have therefore mixed emotions about it. I would recommend it to someone else. Does not make me want to read with love to Paris. Lol's Lol comes in handy!

It was not as good as I thought it would be. The characters ventured in places that you don 't expect. It is not a bad read, just not as good as I expected it to be after the first.
