How could I not like this book

It was recommended to me by my 9 year old great niece as her favorite book for 2014! First of all, how can you not be drawn by the title alone? Morris Lessmore's Fantastic Flying Books are by Mr. His desire to read, his respect for books, his listening, sharing his books with others, his flexibility, adapting to situations, and making preparations for others to follow in his footsteps - I draw the conclusion that he is angelic! This book is excellent training for children and adults alike in developing a love of respect for writing and reading.

I read it to my young son a few years ago and it quickly became one of my favorite children's books. Eventually, I bought my own copy. It is a beautiful story for everyone, but especially for the book lover. The Oscar winning animated short based on this book is just wonderful.
