Add this book to your social emotional literature library
Helpful with self regulation, labeling feelings and emotions, toddler to pre-K age range. Use as part of circle time or place in the Peace Center as part of Circle Time. Easy to read and sized for small hands, perfect for reading small hands. A good book to have for home and classroom.

   Highly Recommend!
My 3 year old loves this book and has memorized it. The other day we went to Costco and he saw another kid and asks me mommy how is that boy feeling? He is able to talk in a comfortable way about feelings and facial expressions, and I love it. Recommend highly.

   Not about emotions.
As other reviewers have noted, this book is conflated emotions and desires and is not useful educationally. My kid also does not find it interesting or engaging, so it is in my opinion a failure as a children's book.

   Daily read
I bought this to read in my classroom. Everyday we read it! The kids love the colors and the pictures. It is very helpful when children learn about their feelings. I work with children with disabilities in a classroom with children. That's why my age level is what I chose. The book is perfect for any age. It is perfect for any age. Before I bought it for my classroom, it was my daughter's favorite book! She's 5 and even though she can not read words at random, she can read this book every time to you. We look forward to purchasing more books from Todd Parr!

   Waste of money
It is not a book about feelings. It is a book of random things that a kid might feel like doing... Celebrate your birthday when it is not today... not a feeling. I feel like I have wasted money!

cute but not what I was expecting
I bought this book because it was recommended on a blog to help teach children about their feelings. I am now convinced that the blogger actually read this book. It says cute things like sometimes I feel like standing on my head or sometimes I feel like eating ice cream and it does have a few pages about feeling lonely, scared, etc... but it doesn't actually address what these feelings are. IDK if this review makes any sense, but its basically a really cute book, but its not going to help your kids understand what feelings are and where they come from.

Disappointed - not many actual emotions
Honestly, I was disappointed in this book, considering all the good reviews. I thought it would focus on giving children words to express emotions, but they mix up in a lot of other things, such as physical feelings. Doesn 't have much beyond basic emotions like happy, sad, cranky, but not even the appropriate words for this emotion.

   I feel disappointed
Half of the feelings in this book aren 't feelings at all - just opinions or desires. I feel frustrated because this book is not what I hoped for, so that other parents don 't waste their money. I feel better now.

   Vibrant and educational
My favorite books are around here by Todd Parr and we are trying to collect them all. This is educational and funny, while also vibrant and fun. This was the best price as well.
