Volponi, a multiple award-winning author, keeps the tension high from the first to last page .The Final Four is definitely a winner. --VOYA, starred review
March Madness is in full swing, and there are only four teams let in the NCA basketball championship. The heavily favored Michigan Spartans and the underdog Troy Trojans meet in the first game in the seminfinals, and it's there that the fates of Malcolm, Roko, Crispin, and M.J. intertwine. As the last moments tick down on the game clock, you'll learn how each player went from being a kid who loves to shoot hoops to a powerful force in one of the most important games of the year. Which team will leave the Superdome victorious? In the end it will come down to who has the most skill, the most drive, and the most heart. Volponi nails it when it counts in this dynamic story. --Booklist, starred reviewIt takes about 4 Hours and 37 minutes on average for a reader to read The Final Four. I didn 't want to put it down and I didn 't want it to end either. I would review the script if the opportunity presented itself.

Great Quick Read!
Derived From Web , Jun 3, 2022
For reasons of laziness, I dreaded reading the book The Final Four. However, once I picked it up, it was such a quick and enjoyable read. Although a work of fiction, his integration of basketball history and other real life events made me think that Coach Kennedy and his underdog team were really there. Thus, would recommend to both sports fans and non-sports fans alike.

Not that exciting

Was really disappointed at how bad and unrealistic the basketball was described. The ending was anti-climatic, and one of the players suffered a concussion and went back into the game.

Must try

I bought this book for my 10 year old nephew, who hates to read, but is a big basketball fan. He called me a week-long lawyer to tell me that he loved the book and is almost finished reading it. It is aimed at young adults, so that writing is easy to understand and storyline is insporational. He is now reading it and I am back on Amazon looking for more books to gift him to him.
