Second book, "The Fifth Estate," was also a bestseller. Like the others, this book is full of beautiful pictures and super easy and simple recipes. The thing about the recipes is that you can actually change things up a bit by adding in different spices or even sub-mixing different veggies, so it doesn't alter too much the simplicity and ease of the recipe to begin with. Flavors are good and I don't feel weighed down or burdened to make or eat these, Melissa said. Let's see some more of the island and south Pacific influence in some of the recipes, Mr. Dhaliwal said. It's just that they call it "fruits."

Beautiful cookbook, and DELICIOUS!
Derived From Web , Apr 7, 2020
This book is beautiful, said James. It makes me excited to get cooking, Beckham said. I made the chard spaghetti twice, but it was too hot. It's one of my new all time favorites. We used it in our last cookbook club meeting and the table of all the food was the most gorgeous display of veggies and color, and we loved every dish!

Yes, I did not agree with the naysayers. They are so simple yet complex in both flavor and presentation. But the price is too high and that's probably what set most people's teeth on edge. Get it as cheaply as you can, Mr. Dhaliwal said.

Beautiful book but the recipes are nothing special
Derived From Web , Feb 8, 2020
If you want a beautiful book to put on your counter, then this is a great book. Food-wise, this book seems to only contain extremely Americanized Mediterranean recipes. None of the recipes calls for spices or herbs, and everything that I have cooked so far is quite bland. Most of the time the food was packed with a variety of spices and herbs that made it stand out from the crowd.

A must have cookbook for any cook who wants fabulous vegetarian recipes!
Derived From Web , Nov 9, 2019
I have both of The Forest Feast's previous cookbooks but I think Forest Feast Mediterranean will be my favorite. The book has been a huge hit, and I have made many of the recipes. Like the other books, the recipes require minimal prep time but are delicious. The photography and the art of this book make it an added bonus. This book is a must-have for anyone serious about food.

Not what I expected
Derived From Web , Sep 20, 2019
I'm giving it three stars because it's not what I expected. The book is gorgeous and the recipes look great. However, I expected the recipes to be what most people consider to be Mediterranean food. Whereas these recipes are Portuguese, Spanish, French and Italian, the latter two are listed alphabetically.

Gorgeous book

A beautiful book and can't wait to incorporate into our meals. HORRIBLE PACKAGING! This book is absolutely lovely and I couldn't wait to get a copy, Morgenthau said. The fact is, Amazon's shipping standards are so messed up, it's almost impossible to ship. I'm delighted with the response, said Penguin Random House. The book is gorgeous, but the binding is already broken. It's just that this is not the first time. It's great to try new recipes, even if it's just for a few minutes.
