   What Freedom Christ Gives!
I have never read a book about Paul's statements. I have read the text many times and taught it to others, but I didn't see the help Keller found in it. A society that seems manic about self-image, self-awareness, self-love or self-loathing needs to hear this message. This brief but powerful exposition is a light for the soul. Read it. You have to remember the truth in it. You will be helped.

   Short and to the point...
The book gave biblical truths and guidelines as to how to no longer stay trapped in the judgement of others and the condemnation of our own minds. It was freeing to realize that the trap is often set by our own pride. What does the word "humility" mean to you? The book helps to define that and give us hope. True humility is not to think less of ourselves, but to think of ourselves less.

A short and concise read, but packed full of scriptural truth
The author of exposing great truths from God's Word is Timothy Keller. This one is based on a book. The essence of humility is not thinking of myself, but thinking of myself less. The book explains in 42 pages why true Christianity is not performance-based. It is a must-read for every believer. It answers many questions.

Best 48 pages I have read probably ever
A well written book. Probably the most important 48 pages I have ever read. Tim Keller didn't try to make it 888-282-0465 888-282-0465 888-282-0465 888-282-0465 888-282-0465 888-282-0465 so it wouldn't lose most of its power. This will get more then 5 stars if you pay $1.60 for the book. If you haven't read it, then you need to get the kindle edition. Don't read the review and get the book.

   Helpful for super-driven people!
After wrestling with a pull to always be productive and feeling guilty at even the thought of sitting down to read a book or rest, this book has helped me understand that either my sin or my accomplishments are connected with my identity. Excellent book!

   A great read
I like this little book. I wish Mr. Keller had taught imputed righteousness a bit more. It's a short read but powerful. Enjoy it.

   Great, short read
I liked the presentation. Good reinforcement of a Christian's identity. The courtroom analogy and the four aspects of the ego are two things I have learned. There are ways to look at it all. Good stuff.

   Short book, great content
Tim Keller does a great job with the material. The book is small and I wish it was longer.

   Get this!
It is simple and straightforward to see a key result of what the reality of the gospel truly brings, and how it changes your view of yourself and others. A weight off your shoulders is freeing. This is really good news.

   Important topic
This is a topic that I am very close to. It wasn't until I went a year without a job that I realized I had been placing my identity in my achievements. I like to explore and discuss this topic, but I was hoping for more depth when I bought this piece. It's hard to say since there is a lot of depth in the gospel. I don't know how to talk about it. I feel like many Christian's struggle with wanting to be high achievers for their own egos sake, and though the answer to this problem exists in the church alone, I think we all have a hard time getting there. I don't know. I'm looking for more help in the courtroom because of a personal problem.
