   Wonderful
This book was a wonderful addition to our collection, said Fatima. My 4 year old and 3 year old both enjoyed it.

A fun way to show that children can take part in Ramadan even when they don’t fast
Many of us get caught up in the fasting portion of Ramadan and may forget to show children that there are other ways we show love and do good during ramadan. This book also stresses to children that they don't need to fast because of their age, but can still take part in Ramadan in different ways. There is no “in your face” lesson, just information about Ramadan through a story of love.

So Glad to add this to our collection
I absolutely love the main character's lovely head of curls, because I love the diversity and making storybook characters relatable to my daughter, Harper said. The story itself is inspiring - shares the little ones'slipping' plus her amazing successes and ability to turn a difficult situation into a 'glittering' one! This is a lovely addition to any library. Although the book is gorgeous, there are a couple of pages early on where the graphics are blurry and not quite sharp. I'm not sure if all the prints came out this way or not, but it doesn't detract from the overall lovely quality of the book. Thanks for the great work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Perfect to get kids excited about Ramadan
She loved it so much she read it to her younger sisters and insisted in taking it to her Islamic school to share with her first grade class. Even my 2 1/2 year old was loving the pictures!!!!!! It's just that they call it quits."

Go inside the heart of a beautiful sacred tradition
We now have more family-friendly titles to take us inside the experience of Muslim families, JK Rowling said. The Gift of Ramadan by Rabiah Yorkd is a stunning and powerful parable in the Qur'an. It takes us into the heart of a beautiful family, and inside the ritual of Ramadan that take us into the heart level, he said. Now we go on a journey into Ramadan far beyond the realm of food, and focus instead on kindness, on togetherness, on sacrifice, Raymond said. Whether or not your child is Muslim, the book is a must-have.

   A new favorite!
Thanks for sharing this with us librarians! This is such a lovely story that shows not only the beauty of Ramadan but that there are more than one path to success. It is, in many ways, a family affair. I am in LOVE with this beautiful multiracial family, Blair said. Perfect for every Muslim home and for anyone who values diverse representation of the world's children.
