   23 years of developing partners-and I learned a lot!
It was practical, encouraging, motivational, and gave great perspective. I would highly recommend this as a must read! '' It is organized well and has consistently great content throughout. This book is very important and then go slowly over it again to let it soak in. I would also recommend the little red book of Jeffrey Gitomer's selling afterwards. It is a secular book but it gives the nuts and bolts of a true salesperson and is a good companion to read.

Conventional wisdom says that you can learn things one of two ways : by making your own mistakes or by learning from someone else. I am a missionary pastor who was recently called to plant a successful church. I was pretty sure that I could develop a good plan for raising support and had already begun when a friend in a pentecostal ministry led me to this resource. As a result, it saved me from doing what I wanted and confirmed some costly mistakes. With most people, you will only get one opportunity to seek their support for their ministry.
