Great book to pair with trilogy

I bought this cookbook and the Godfather trilogy movie box set and gave it to my 16-year-old son for Christmas. He said that it was one of his favorite gifts. The Cook Book uses simple ingredients, which is great for a person who is learning to cook. We picked several recipes for a New Year's Eve dinner and turned out great and our dinner guests gave rave reviews. When watching the Godfather, you can not help craving some delicious Italian food, and this is a great way to introduce a new generation to classic, while having fun cooking with your family.

Wow! We bought one for each of our sons for their birthdays and we are buying another for them! In our family we love to cook Italian! This book is filled with BEAUTIFUL dishes! The food photos look delicious and, being Godfather fans, the pictures from the films are just an added bonus! I think this may be the go-to gift of the year for upcoming birthdays and other celebrations!

Actually bought this as a white elephant gift exchange for an upcoming holiday lunch with my work colleagues. But I have flipped through it and it looks great with a bunch of Godfather-inspired recipes that are really tasty! When I end up getting it back, that won 't be a totally bad thing. Manga : Manga is a wonderful thing!

The cookbook is very good! We are Italian cuisine and are of German origin. We tried the chicken cacciatore and it was really good, the best we ever had! Part 2 of my review : Since I wrote the first review, we made the meatballs and were great too! Southern Italian is very authentic. We also tried the recipe of Osso Buco and was excellent!

The chicken Cacciatore was delicious and it was OH MY GOODNESS wonderfully easy and the best I ever had. I love this book just and it will be one of my keepers for later passing it too! It is a must have cookbook.
