   Bad for singers- vocals parts one octave too high
I am a vocal coach and received this for my high school singers, but the vocal parts, in all but two songs, are written one ovave higher than the performers in the film actually sing them. It's bizarre, there are high Bs and Cs that sound really strange when singing these songs so high. It would sound silly like you're trying to turn these songs into operatic pieces. It does not work just fine. They are in the original key, but should have left the vocal line in the same range as the originals in the film. I think that I have to return the book, it is really of no use to me the way it is written.

   For someone who has only been playing piano for a few years
I given this book five stars, but returned the book fine. I have been playing the piano for nearly 20 years without playing competitively or doing anything, but consistently and the music was just too easy for me to play. It is simple enough that there is not much harmony, so if you want melody and have played the piano for a few years, you will probably like it.

   Miles from the movie...
And liked the songs, especially '' A Million Dreams Witch shoud be the one nominated for Oscar, and not '' This Is Me! . The problem with this songbook is that most songs have a very POOR left hand, even written in treble cleff instead of bassus signal, must arrange almost any song of this book. And each takes 10-12 pages. Too much!

   Kindle and paperback are different versions Piano Vs Guitar
I ordered this for my daughter and did not notice that the book and paperback versions were different. The Kindle version says piano, voice, and guitar. The paperback is easy to play guitar. Well, I ended up with the guitar version that does me no good. Yes, I should have been more observant, but why would you have two different versions in the same listing?

   Misleading print version - it is for "easy piano" - search for 1540007111 instead
After ordering the printed version, I ordered this and needed a kindle version of it. The printed version is the non-simplified arrangement, while the kindle version is for the easy piano. I have checked the description and is indeed for easy piano. It is misleading to have it on the same product as the kindle version for the non-simplified version. Update 852018 Guys for the Paperback version, this is the version you need ISBN 1540007111. Here is where the problem lies with Amazon : entering this ISBN into the search box takes you to the unsimplified version, but then clicking on the paperback version takes you to the non-simplified version, and finally clicking on the kindle version takes you to the easy piano version!

   Just what I wanted
This sheet music is very faithful to the original songs's correct keys, correct chords and rhythms in the accompaniment. It is not an E-Z piano version, but would require an intermediate player to perform it.

   Great Music!
While I thought this movie was a little weak, the music is fantastic. Piano transcriptions are fairly easy to play for an experienced pianist. On the piano, Never Enough, Tightrope and A Million Dreams are standouts. Note that the melody line is integrated into the piano part, which is great if you play these as a piano solo, but less so for accompanying a singer. If you want accompanist music, I recommend checking out the version called Greatest Showman Vocal Selections.

All girls in her class have been singing the songs. I've seen negative reviews on it, as people complained that it was too easy or simplified. That sounded good to me because my daughter just finished her first year of learning the piano. Right now, these songs are above her skill level, but it gives her something to achieve.
