loves God and so I thought this would be a great book for him
I have a 15 yr old son who loves to read, loves God and so I thought this would be a great book for him. It is well written and helps him understand things such as girls and dating. It is a must have for teenage boys everywhere.

   Great Resource
Love the practical advice Jonathan gives for guys. This book is a great resource to give a teen son, grandson, friend a great gift. One of the things I loved was having some great questions at the end of the chapters to help you reflect and even talk to some of your friends or family. Great read with really easy advice. I highly recommend '' this book.

Great book; Not appropriate for 10 year old
This book has some good topics in general. Fortunately, Dad and I decided to browse through it before handing it over to our 10 year old. See pictures from pages 22. We decided quickly to tuck this in the top of our closet for another few years. These pages excluded, it looks like it will be a good book and addresses several topics like managing your screen time, being kind to others, having a good heart, being responsible for your own behavior, etc. Pgd 22 and 23 kind of freaked dad and I out a bit.

   Misogynistic garbage
Fortunately, I read through this book before giving it to my son. It is a sexist piece of crap that encourages boys to see girls and women as objects and less than them. Please don 't buy this for your son.

   Great book for teen boys!
I wanted to write a devotional type book that was practical for teenage boys and related to things they are dealing with at their age. We began adding the readings to our night-time devotions with my son at night. I am glad that we decided to buy this book! Great reminders and lessons '', and I am glad that we decided to buy it! Most nights, the tips are very relatable to things we dealt with having a 16 year old son. A scripture passage is included most nights, along with the tip. There are a few that are just for fun, such as 10 movies you must see. I haven't seen all the movies mentioned, so I am not sure if they are good choices or not. For most part, we have really liked the tips in this book and have appreciated the conversations it has opened for us with our son. It would be good for younger teens and is great for older teens as well.

   Best boys devotion ages 9-17
We finished this book just by finishing this book. It was our nightly devotion for the past four months for the four months ahead. My boys are ages 9,13 and 15, my boys are ages 9,13 and 15. I cannot express how valuable this book has been to you. Every night as we read the devotion together, sometimes blushing, we cover topics that boys need to hear. I can not recommend this book enough!

This is perfect for my 13-year old son
This is perfect for my 13-year-old son, it was a Christmas gift and we now enjoy reading a bit in the morning before school or in the evening before bed. A wonderful way to begin or end the day in a wonderful way. Not only are these valuable lessons giving us something to think about, but it is also great for his father and I to read with our son, and it opens the chance to discuss what we are reading. My lone complaint is that I wish there were more Bible verses, but overall, this is an excellent book for a young man! Thank you so much for the kind words!

My son loves this book. My son loves it. Each section is only a few pages long, so that they hold his attention. He also says that the book is not boring as there are lots of colors and fonts, so that stimulates his brain to read it. Some of the reviews criticize the book and claim that it is not a suitable devotional. I don 't think that the book is really intended as such. I think it is more intended to get teenage boys to THINK about the world we live in today and how the choices they make now shape who they become as an adult and teaches them how to help themselves make better choices. My son has read most of the book and discussed a lot of it with me pointing out different perspectives that he had not considered that helped him understand why his father and I have made certain decisions regarding his restrictions and consequences for violating those restrictions. In all, very pleased with this purchase.

   Practical great advice and FUNNY!!
This book is an awesome book for high school through junior high, guys! The author offers hilarious, real advice, like take a shower, shave that Peach fuzz, use gum! He balances it with hard truths that every young man needs to hear : no means no, read Porn daily, and get off the Bible. Each topic is short, straightforward and usually filled with humor. The guys who read it loved the book and got through it quickly! I am buying more for my youth group, guys!
