My 9 year old loves these books!

My son is 9 and in 3rd grade and hates reading, but LOVES this series! These are definitely some of the only books we have found, which he enjoys! One of the first times he read one, he said, WHAT?! '' I've been reading for 20 minutes?! It only felt like 5! Thank goodness! '' I feel like they would be suitable for all children, especially those needing a slower transition to chapter books, but they are chapter books, but have a picture every 2-3 pages, which my son loves! Great for 2nd and 3rd graders... or a higher 1st grade reader!

Great collection of young adventure books for young readers. The books all fit together and have a lot of imagination behind each story. It is very easy to read these chapter books and follow the same drama as the rest. My 10yr old boy is great for my new boy! What a Friend! ''

Very enjoyable and just-right length

A few years ago, my ten-year-old started reading these books. They are very helpful and he usually finishes them quickly. They are above his reading level, but I'm okay with it because he really loves her. I would say they are good starter series - chapter books that are not overwhelming young children in terms of length. I continue to buy these books.

I love that they don't gear specifically to boys or girls
Derived From Web , May 11, 2018
My daughter loves absolutely everything about this series! I pre-order every book and I am excited when they arrive. I love that they don 't make that much of a clothing specifically for boys or girls. My younger son has no interest in reading the girlie books my daughter reads, but I plan on saving this series for him.
