   Eye opening book!
This book was suggested to me by a good friend. She really raved about it and thought I should give it a read. It was slow at first but really picked up towards the end of the book. This book opened my eyes and showed a new perspective on hot topic issues. I think everyone should read this book once. Overall, good book to read!

   Shiny Cover, Brilliant Writing
One of the best books I have ever read. The collector's edition comes with a map of the characters neighborhood, as well as some good extras. The shiny gold cover has a sparkle on top. Absolutely recommend.

Best book I’ve read in years!!
The order was finished on Sunday night. It was an amazing read. The story is relevant to today's society. I was made laugh, sob, and everything in between. I will make everyone read it.

   Golden book!
The cover of the book is beautiful. Everything in it is described. My daughter was surprised to have a hardback book wrapped in gold paper.

   Not a true collector's edition
The description of the collector's edition is not accurate. I thought I was getting more. The map of Garden Heights is a drawing. This copy is not worth the extra money.

   WOW!!!!
This book is a must read for this generation that we are living in right now and it speaks to so many different things that really mack us all the same. My son asked if I had read the book before and I said no and ordered it the next day. I finished it early on Oct 18th. It's a fascinating and engaging story. The stories about the struggles of Khaalil are very moving and I bought the collector's addition to include them.

   Powerful! Emotional! Thought provoking!
This is one of the most powerful books I have ever read. I couldn't put it down once I started reading. At times, I laughed. At times, I cried. I was angry and disgusted at times. I was impressed by the love, strength, and support this family displayed towards each other. I called my friend who recommended the book so I could process everything. Everyone, young adult and adult, should read this book.

   Love
I wanted to get my hands on this book because I thought it was so cheap and I had been waiting for it for weeks at my local library. It is so pretty! 1010 can't wait to read.

This book does not shy away.
We need more authors like Angie Thomas who aren't afraid to speak their mind, because like it or not, this is the world we live in today. Young men are dying when they shouldn't be. I won't be quiet because I'm thankful for God. The collector edition is worth more than the regular edition. The gold is a gorgeous color, and you can get pictures of how Star was developed, as well as different character descriptions, and how they came to be. It was worth it.

   A Must Read
This book hit home in many ways. The characters are real. One of the books I have read this year is one of my favorites. A lot of us go through tops.
