Literally the worst book I've ever read.
I was interested in reading this novel because of the movie and the series. This book has been the worst book I' ve ever read. The character names are the only similarity between the book and the movie. The novel doesn't have much plot or chills, and is often silly. It reminds me of an old Gothic novel that was written by someone who was bored and neglected. The writing is not great. The paper it was printed on was made from trees that died. I was expecting to get to a thrilling scene at any moment, but it never came. Don't waste your time with the book.
Blabbering nonsense followed by worse ending
I read this after watching the movie and series, because I thought it was one of the best scary novels out there. Wrong, that's correct. The sentence is filled by repeating it. Nothing ever made sense. It's not even remotely scary. The ending was terrible.
