   A+ grade for this reading series!
He has had hours of enjoyment reading these clasics, and I do not have to force him to do summer reading so that he would not be rusty when school starts again, Mrs. Caramore said.    Great gift for a young reader
I bought this starter set for my 9 year-old grandson's forthcoming 10th birthday. Forewarned by other reviewers who found some pages half-printed and one volume lacking several pages, I carefully inspected every page of the set and found no flaws. The book is well-printed and bound with sturdy hardcover bindings. I feel confident these classic stories will further the love for reading that he already shows, and hope he asks for more, she said.

   Fun books but with a word of caution

I bought these for my son at the recommendation of his grandfather, who read them both as a kid. With any luck this collection will keep my son away from gangs, drugs and the poserers of the Celtic dance scene, his mom said. His grandfather is the crazy doctor guy in "Independence Day."

   Best reading starter for boys that have ever been written! Timeless classics that will encourage reading.
It was a great way to get my son involved in more reading and off of his iPad for awhile. I still want more, even though he's only halfway through the first six. This is a great starter for boys that will encourage reading and comprehension skills well beyond any other series I have seen. Amazon said the t-shirts were available on request through a secondary seller. All Saints Eve is a parody of the Saints' music video.
