I read it first, but I'm not a big fan of Dr. Goin's book. It's super cool, and has lots of pictures, Morgenthau said.

This book is a delight to read, Mary. Couldn't put it down. I like the way he writes it, as if he's talking to you as a friend. It has all the good information on the hummers and the flowers to plant and history, too. The pictures are beautiful, said Blair. Anyone who loves hummingbirds will enjoy this book, Raymond said. I'm so glad I got it, said Blair. It's just that I wish I had hung them long ago. It's so joyful and amazing to watch them, Melissa.

Not enough pictures for my liking.

Too many entries, too many pages. I would have liked to have had more pictures. It's a good guide to the Hummingbird World, but without the help of Dr. Ed. Selway.

Outstanding and Informative
Derived From Web , Jul 23, 2021
Yes, I have many other hummingbird books. This one is truly special, Tunick said. I am reading it slowly, to absorb all the details. I didn't think it would be as great as it is. It's great to have a product that people who love hummingbirds recommend to anyone who does. Several hummingbirds came by their names, creating a frenzy of activity. I didn't know that many people died in those circumstances. This book is filled with knowledge of all kinds of hummingbirds.

Excellent Book for any level of hummingbird interest!
Derived From Web , May 28, 2021
We have all seen hummingbirds throughout our lives, said Barbara Comstock, executive director of the National Institutes of Health. John Shewey, in his book, "Birds of Prey," shows us how complex, how territorial and how beautiful these wonderful birds really are. Whether you are a casual observer or an experienced ornithologist, this is a must-have book. And, because it's a day at the zoo, you get to spend a lot of time with a bird that is usually shrouded in mystery. Shewey's style of writing makes you feel like you are there with him, experiencing these things right beside him. It's a book I know I will refer to again and again.

MARVELOUS!
Derived From Web , May 25, 2021
An absolutely beautiful book, filled with loads of information on these amazing little birds of prey. And if you love hummingbirds, you NEED to own this book. The book arrived damaged, deep creases throughout the book, because of a flimsy mailing envelope. The book is a great read, but shipping issues are preventing it from being published.
