   One of the top business books ever written
BusinessWeek's review of The New Republic Book of the Year concluded that this was "simply one of the best business books ever written." I read it 10 years ago, but I probably think about it and have used it in my discussions at least once a month since then. I use to give it to my employees, but I found that only 1 in 10 would read it. Even today, I consider this book so full of valuable insight that I just keep the knowledge to myself as a competitive advantage. If you are in business or planning to go into business then this is one of the first books you should buy and put in your library. Business books are littered with re-hashed nuggets of wisdom on how to do business. Like a rich uncle sitting you down and explaining how business actually works in plain language.

The book helped me understand how disruption occurs and how it is managed. I have found it to be very insightful and relevant to my own work.

   Best business book ever written - bar none
If you are an entrepreneur, this book is a must. What makes a properly disruptive business succeed is not just the product, but the entire structure of the business. I've started 4 businesses and read 100+ business books, and I'm always coming back to this one and re-reading it.

He defined disruptive innovation as "the ability to change the status quo without significant structural change." I am currently reading the next book by Clayton Christensen, "The Hunt for Red October."

I can't say this review is for the entire book because I was unable to read past the second chapter -- this book for me was so incredibly dull, it's basically just a collection of random facts about tech in history. So much text that could be taught in 3 1/2 paragraphs, Mr. Dhaliwal said. The amount of concepts and the grotesque plotting of the grotesque are mind blowing, every single page i read was mind blowing. nan

The book is the typical introduction to the entire thesis. The author, not surprisingly, takes it all in. If you think you may have wasted time, do not hesitate to contact us. You will learn all you need to knwo.

   You Need to Read this If Your Business in Involved in Innovation
This is not a nail-biter, nor does the author do a good job of keeping you interested, Pauley said. Dry and tedious, Mr. Rule told the judge. Clayton Christensen has recognized a major problem in business -- that of tapping into disruptive innovation in a successful way -- and tells us how to avoid the pitfalls and leverage it to the advantage of the company. He has a wealth of knowledge and is a big-picture thinker, too. It is an enlightening and must-read book for any business person that is in a field where innovation is important. By the way, this is a business book, not an inventor's book - as it is not about innovation itself, but about applying that innovation to your business.
