   Typical Paw Patrol story line
I have two crazy kids obsessed with Paw Patrol. I have purchased this book without realizing that it is EXACTLY the same as the episode Kitty Rescue. I don 't know the reason, but I thought it would vary a bit. The story is typical of how the television show goes : the pups are assigned to the lookout by Ryder and called to their jobs. This book focuses particularly on Skye, Marshall, Rubble and Zuma. I dropped a star because the binding of the book is long and it appears not to last long.

   Dull
With the new Paw Patrol craze for preschoolers, I thought this book would be interesting, but it is actually a very dull story to read. Yes, the kitten is rescued, but there is very little problem with solving the adventure. Also one of the side stories has the kitten hating the bath and making a huge mess trying to escape. The author should realize that the plot line is completely counterproductive with small children who are so impressionable. Speaking as a teacher, why can these books not use positive communication?

AWESOME book!! Keeps my 1 year old's attention. Must have for Paw Patrol kids!!
My one and three year old boys LOVE this book. It was a Christmas stock and we read it all the time. The story is really short and pretty long. I've also loved Paw Patrol. This book helps me get my kiddos excited about reading and the pictures are very detailed, which is great for educational purposes. Even with the low attention span of my one year old... he is completely glued to this book until the end... and then wants you to read it again. If your children love Paw Patrol, they will love this book. )

Great story and familiar characters for preschoolers
I bought this for my 3 yr old son, who discovered Paw Patrol immediately in recent months and bought it only as a fan. Episodes, which my son recognized and immediately saw when I began reading it. He loves the story and LOVES the characters. The length is good, colors are vivid and the book has that classic binding of Little Golden Books that I remember from childhood. This one has made it to the stack on the nightstand, which consists of the books he likes most to read. We look forward to more Paw Patrol stories from Little Golden Books.

Not actually a story with much Marshall.
I was disappointed in this book for a main reason : Marshall is my son's favorite character and based on the cover image, I thought Marshall would be the main part of this story or at least save the day in the end. In this book, Marshall was only really in it for a page, and he didn 't kill the cat, but rather messed up and fell off the ladder of the fire in the end, so he was not really heroic or a major part of the story. I know that sounds really silly, but I have been looking specifically for Marshall-centered storiest shirtsstuff, etc., but they can be hard to find, and I thought I had found one with this book, but I didn 't.

It's written just like one of the tv episodes
This is so written very well! Bought for my nephew who turned one and loves Paw Patrol. It's just written like one of the tv episodes.

   My son loves this book.
I read it every night to my son. Some of the pups do some funny faces and crack him up.

A Real Book for Real Kids
The crack occurs when you're the first to open it, the smell and feel of the paper and the sight of a book on the shelf. Golden Books are perfect for small children. They are not board books - they have real pages and are easily read.
