Perfect for my soon-to-be Kindergartener!
Derived From Web , May 8, 2020
This book is absolutely perfect for my 4 year old who is going to Kindergarten next year. He loves the book, its story, the pictures and he says the quotes in the book that the King of Kindergarten says! I especially love that it's written to the reader about what they'll do on their first day at school. I told my son the story about his first day and the way it was written makes him really feel that it really is, Mrs. Dhaliwal said. I cannot say enough good things about this book. It emphasizes kindness and makes him excited about going to his new school. Just love it. It's just that they call it quits."

Teaches Black Boys to leave Black Girls Behind
Derived From Web , Oct 27, 2019
This subconsciously teaches black boys to become “king†and leave the black girl behind, but show his bravery to the white girl and she will “lead†him and will “fight†with him. Look at the pictures yourself and read it and look at the images. It's like when a famous athlete becomes a married man and marries someone who doesn't look like him. Yes, we keep wealth in the family, he said. She must have looked like mommy, if you know what I'm saying. This book is trash, garbage, indoctrination and promotes black genocide, and I'm taking it that far, but when you think about it, it's true. Only a handful of us are oblivious to the problems we face. Before you can draw the picture, you must first get a brown marker and color the character in. I do that with other books, too, but it works. I am so excited to be back home, Mr. Kennedy said in a statement.

Great for boys, not so much for black girls
Derived From Web , Sep 1, 2019
While the story was very positive, I was very disappointed to see that the black girl in Kindergarten sat by herself, the writer said. In the classroom, she was the only child who didn't seem to be having any trouble with the other children. She never asked us to find her name. I had purchased the book as one of several books my daughter would need to read in her first day of kindergarten. The nurse, who was not present, said the youngster sat by herself.

A great read aloud for young children!
Derived From Web , Jul 9, 2019
A great story, Frank Turner said. Beautifully drawn images of the book's characters and the rhythmic sounds of the story's music stand out. It's a complex text and doesn't dumb down, it's message for young children, Mr. Rule told the judge. A beautiful story of a young boy's excitement about his first day of kindergarten and the connections he receives from family, teacher and new friends. He said: "We're delighted with the outcome."
