Liberal ideas…

Please keep your liberal ideas out of my kids head. You don't need gays and lesbians in a children's book, Raymond said. Buyers beware: The deal may go bad.

Bad quality of the book set - story content is excellent!
Derived From Web , Apr 4, 2020
The second book, also by Powell, came with faulty print that is missing 20 or so pages. My daughter ended up getting this book from her school library and reading the entire thing. We would like to have a new copy of this book.

Love the story, but missing chapters in the book!
Derived From Web , Mar 5, 2020
My 11yo daughter was given this set of books by her mom for Christmas and absolutely loves them. The second volume had two copies of the first book, "The Fall of the Jedi," and was missing the remainder of the story. The books were supposed to be new and appeared that way upon opening, but I didn't realize I needed to check for all the chapters to be printed in each book of the series. A lot of things in the book are very disappointing.

It's pretty nasty, said Blair. As a teacher, these boxes are super convenient and are nice for display.

Enjoy as a kid or adult - GREAT read
Derived From Web , Jan 1, 2020
We have been reading these books to our 8-year-old twins and I'm not sure who enjoys them more. The kids love the new stories and adventures with their familiar characters and my husband and I have really enjoyed the extra layer of humor that goes over their heads, Mrs. Booher said. If you're looking for something after Harry Potter, these are the places to go.

Such a great series!

My 8 year old has not been able to put any of them down! In a generous gesture of uncharacteristic compassion, McCartney asked that Simon's book be made available to children this Christmas. This is a great series of books, I'm glad we came across it.

Move over disney.... just a little bit though lol

These are the books that will rock your world. I'm almost 30 and work at a dental lab where I listen to podcasts, music and often books on audible devices. It was a godsend and I couldn't listen to them all. If you allow them to reignite the creative inside you who used to love getting lost in a story, they can do wonders for your brain. You truly find yourself latching onto these characters. The audible versions were so thoroughly enjoyable I decided to buy this gift set so my son and I could enjoy them together, he said. Just do it, Tunick said. It's totally worth it, and these are the types of stories you want in your collection.

Not impressed with the storyline. Not very engaging.

Granted, my son may be a bit young for this series, but the plot line and sentence structure don't exactly scream "youth." Also, some of the language is not what I am hoping to have my son hear. For an 8-year-old, I am doing some editing on the fly.

My 11 year old devoured these books in a week!

The pudding has all but popped the champagne bottle. She had not put them down until she completed the entire series. She loved the entire series and raved about the finale. If your child is a reader and is into fantasy fiction, this book is for you.
