So sorry I bought this book

The Last Sun was overly focused on world-building, heavy with tarot-based terminology and light on character development. I tried to understand the author's mythology for a while, but I eventually stopped caring. I certainly did not care about any of the characters. In all, it was easy to put down.

One of those books where the plot is good enough to overshadow any author mistakes, but the author is pretty darn good, so that it was just a great read.
