Content terrific ~ quality of binding terrible

What should have been an interesting and beautiful book on books '' volume was marred by the poor workmanship of basic books publishing. There was a line of glue across the entire top edge of the book that forced me to cut every page loose, with some pages being torn in the process. The content of the book is sloppy and unprofessional, the way the book was printed was fantastic.

I enjoyed reading the book because I am a fan of libraries and interested in the history of this institution. It is a little on the heavier side though, because it gives the reader a lot of specific information. I am sure that I will use this book as a reference book for future needs. I think this book might be too in-depth for a casual reader, but is an excellent choice for someone looking for more knowledge and content! ''
