If you love stories of survival and character development
Derived From Web , Jun 20, 2020
I read the whole series in a few days and could not put it down. Had an amazing character development and the whole premise and setting is so well done. I was sad on Book 2, when I thought we would not hear again about Miranda and her family, but we come together in Book 3. I already loved both sides of the story and then boom! Book 3 combines the two families and is so good! This series will not be ready for you. Book 5 :

Student Request

One of my 8th grade students read the first and wanted to continue the series. I do have to say that I read the first and it was only okay. But I am an adult, so my opinion does not count!

Young adult read by adult
Derived From Web , Aug 23, 2019
I enjoyed most of the first book. There was not a lot of action going on, but it kept me enough to finish. Read it easily. Interesting topic. Would have been a little more shock value as far as the stories of the Charachters are concerned.
