My daughter wants to read this every night.
She chose this to read every nap time and every night before bed since she got it for Christmas.
   Disappointed it wasn't the "original"
I didn 't realize that this had been redone by someone from the original cute and simple little, I know that I can do with all added glitz. I loved this story so much that I wanted to find it for my great grandson and didn 't check until his birthday, when it was too late to order the original printing and couldn t find it locally.
A Most Important Gift to Give
Obviously, this baby must have this book. - ( )
This edition has horrible illustrations, they destroyed the beloved classic
My previous edition for my kid was wonderful and the whole family loved it. However, we lost it and I got this new edition without realizing that the illustrations are reimagined ''. The new pictures are so cold, detached, they don 't communicate the passion of the toys to move forward. The previous edition gets you to the previous edition.
Classic book reimagined - so cute!
This book was already a classic of course. I love the reimagination of the characters, but kept it somewhat true to the original story.
I bought this classic for my second birthday of my niece! She said : I LOVE UNCLE DANIEL!!!! I am proud of her! She can also read the book herself!
   Poor binding
Love this story and the artwork is good but the binding is not very beautiful. You can see the stitching in the center and the pages aren 't already attached to the book so that it isn 't securely falling apart.
   So Beautiful
As a child, this was my absolute favorite book. Every year I read to my library students in K-2 grades. When I saw the 90th anniversary edition, I had to have it. Am I a lover? It has been loved! Can 't say enough about it. The illustrations are woven by Superb with the story of our childhood. A must for every parent, the classroom and the library.
