   A book about nothing
This book is not good. I don't remember the original very well, but I hope it's better than this one. The mean trains are meant to be mean. The trains are good for the sake of being good. There is no agency for the toys to solve their own issues. We don't know what happens to the first train that can't pull the load, she is cut from the story. When my toddler continually asks why something has happened in a story and you don't have a good response, it's not worth your time.
