I recommend this book to anyone who wants to change their life. I have changed my diet since reading this book, and I can tell you that Dr. Stork has helped me reduce my blood sugar levels. I have cut down on the number of units that I use in my pump.

Nothing in this book can't be found from other sources. It's kind of a new look at what's out there. No refined sugar, flour alcohol, drink more water, and eat more veggies. The recipes are pretty good.

I incorporated my own food tastes and mixed them with lots of vegetables, fruit, and leafy greens, a huge salad, no sugar, no white flower, and no bread a couple times a week. Greek yogurt and berries are only sweetened with honey. Old fashioned oats. I didn't use any of the recipes because they were too complicated and expensive. I have lost 30 lbs. I didn't exercise for the first 2 months because I wanted to make sure I wasn't eating too much. I started walking 15 pounds a week to reach my goal.
