A brilliant book for a sound understanding of 'time' in the biblical sense.

Mr Peck's writing style is easy to read and he gives questions and opinions. The explanations of biblical subsets of time and the way they are linked to Bible verse helps the reader understand. At the eve of Israel's rebirth, I am fascinated by the discovery of the ' Dead Sea scrolls.' I have been wanting a book that presented information about the scrolls with a sense of ' let's discover some amazing riches within' and this book has met that expectation.

I bought this wonderful book a couple weeks ago after watching 3 episodes of a Christian theologian named Josh Peck who explains how the Essenes were and how they expected a divine Messiah. It was mind- blowing to say that when I finished reading the book. My own spiritual walk has been improved so that I can seek out more holiness. This book is only recommended for seasoned believers of The Word of Yahweh.

The prophetic subject of the Dead Sea Scrolls is addressed in a different way in this book than in Dr. Johnson's book. One needs to read both of these books in order to understand what was discovered in the caves of Qumran. The information on the original calendar is worth the money. Great job Josh. !

Good research on Qumran, but very liberal theology

The author tries to lead the reader into believing the Essenes believed the theological errors which were imagined and popularized in the 1800's in just the first two chapters of the book. If you like the false theories of dispensationalism, this book is for you.

The Dead Sea Scrolls and the Essenes have been researched by Josh Peck. I am a Christian who longs for a deeper understanding of the Bible, both Old and New Testament, and who loves to study the history and the prophecies contained in it, and the information he shares is mind- blowing to me. Josh, you did an excellent job. This is the most fascinating book I' ve ever read.
