Welcome to the Kingdom of Wrenly--a new chapter book series full of fantasy and adventure.
Meet Lucas, the eight year-old prince, and Clara, the daughter of the queen's seamstress. Lucas is an only child who longs to make friends and go on adventures. Clara knows the kingdom well, so she and Lucas team up and explore the lands of Wrenly
In The Lost Stone, Lucas and Clara search for Queen Tasha's missing emerald. On their exciting adventure, they travel to all the main attractions of Wrenly: Primlox (the island of fairies), Burth (the island of trolls), Crestwood (the island of dragons), Hobsgrove (the island of wizards), and the beautiful Mermaid's Cove. King Caleb has promised to reward the person who finds the precious stone, and Lucas and Clara are determined to search the entire kingdom until they find it
With easy-to-read language and illustrations on almost every page, The Kingdom of Wrenly chapter books are perfect for beginning readers.

Finally, a book that my emerging reader enjoys! The illustrations are engaging and approachable, the story and characters are well done, and the writing is beautiful without being dumbed down. There are a few words that my son has needed help with, but they are just enough for a challenge to raise the level. Since then, we have purchased all the books available.

I had trouble finding books that my son would want to read. He was 8 when I found them and a little behind in his reading. I wanted to find something interesting enough to keep him engaged. As far as the story line goes, I would not rate it very high, but I am not the one reading it, so it does not really matter. My son fell in love with the book and is so far the only series he wants to read and enjoys reading. If your child enjoys adventure and a little mystery, they will also love these books.

   Good beginning chapter book series
My daughter is beginning to read chapter books and she loves this series so far. There are a few words she normally encounter at school, such as snarred, but can read these on her own and enjoys the storyline.

   the kid loves it!
I can 't actually say I read that, because my 7-year-old reads them before I get a chance to read them to him. He immediately grabs these books and reads them. They are easy reads, true, but the point is that he won 't put them down until they are done. It usually takes him a few days to recover. We have a number of books that he spends, but not that he enjoys as aggressively as these.

   Great starting chapter book.
He always wants us to read more at the end of the story time, and I think that is great. There are also male and female characters that not all authors pull well.

A great series for first graders!
Our class of 18 students loved this book so much! This book has mystery, funny parts and challenges for the characters to solve. First grade students were observed by Mrs. Fitzsimons's first grade students.

Great Book for Young Readers (Suggested grades 1 - 3)
This series captured my seven-year-old heart. It is great for boys and girls to read and is very engaging. The first week she read it, then we quickly found several more of the series from the library. She is completely hooked and in the last 7 days she reads more than she did in the previous month.

   Fun, Magical Story
Lucas and Clara are the best friends who live in a kingdom that includes fairies, giants, wizards and witches. My daughter, who is in the second grade, enjoys Lucas and Clara's adventures, including this book, which is the start of it all. The books have chapters with large type and lots of black and white drawings that make them a great fit for readers who are just beginning chapter books, and for readers who enjoy a fun magical world, even if they can read longer books with a smaller type. ) I hope that your children enjoy this book!

I bought the first one thinking I'd read more if she liked it, but she already had her mom check out the rest and I think she's all 13 by now... since Christmas.

This is a great book for children who have started to be interested in chapter books. Both male and female main characters are shown. They are also easy to read aloud.
