This book is on the NYT list. If you like romantic comedies, this book is for you. The storyline is cute. The characters are funny. I felt like I was watching a movie because the author did a great job with the descriptions. I was on the edge of my seat, begging for the ending that I wanted. I can't wait for the author's next book.

sweet rom com finally is a book
Derived From Web , Feb 27, 2022
It's a really good way to describe it. As far as the concept goes, I couldn't help but laugh out loud and feel the awkwardness and the butterflies that were caused by the chemistry of the main characters I like the fact that it didn't rely too much on smut. The read was fun and endearing. I don't feel like it's bad to be rated below 5 stars. It is enjoyable andreadable.

Freaking adorable, sexy, and laugh-out-loud funny.

I don't have the right words to describe how much I loved this book. I could re-read it over and over again because of the humor, the characters and the kiss. This is one of my top reads of 2021. You will thank me later if you read this sign. I was out of a two month reading slump. I devoured it in 4 hours.

Reylo in STEM Academia
Derived From Web , Nov 18, 2021
The book feels like it was written for me. Two scientists fake-date and fall in love in a rom com. I want my own doctor, Adam Carlsen. It was added to the top ten list. There are warnings of death of a parent, cancer, sexual harassment, and workplaceacademia.

Lives up to the hype
Derived From Web , Nov 18, 2021
I get happy tears every time I read the ending. I like romance, but I rarely read contemporary. I picked this up because I heard so many good things. Even if I didn't stick with academia, Olive is still very much a woman in the field. She's well-rounded, trying her best, making mistakes, and dealing with everything life throws at her. You want the best for her. The best parts of fake dating are brought to life in this book, from kisses for show to friends pushing them together and shared hotel rooms. I didn't want to put it down. It's been out for a while, but it's already become a comfort book to return to.

Very fun and enjoyable read!

This was a great read. The hypothesis at the beginning of each chapter was very clever and the chemistry between the characters was great. I would love to spend the rest of my weekend in this book, but I am sad that I have to read it so quickly. The main character, Olive, was very personable and the banter between her and Adam always made me smile. There is definitely some spice in this and I like it! I like it because it is well written and thoughtful. I highly recommend. I would love to read it again.

Over hyped
Derived From Web , Oct 12, 2021
This wasn't written well. There is no chemistry at all. The characters have no development. They don't admit they have feelings for each other. They didn't really talk to each other so it was more of a "oh yeah I like this person" vibe. She talks to him and he goes along for the ride. He never says more than three sentences at a time. I was disappointed.
