   Gooey goodness.
Confession - Time : I never liked homemade mac and cheese. Not from my mom or gramma or church potlucks. When I found out that Homeroom people made a cookbook, I had to get it. So far, I made a batch of basic mac and cheese and chili. Both are excellent, rich, and wonderful winter comfort foods. They're also very conversational and easy to read and sit down before beginning to cook. I'll probably never buy Kraft again boxed. One thing, though, I think their portions are on crack. A pound and a half of macaroni's boiled, then added to this rich and wonderful sauce, they say serves 4. I also used probably more cheese than called for. The basic directions are awesome, then keep tweaking until you're happy.

   Seriously, amazing
Have you ever had such an amazing dream and then wake up and its Saturday morning and you don 't have any responsibilities and then smell fresh pancakes that you cook just for you... That is what reading this book is like. Refreshing, informative and packed full with cheese-loving recipes. The first part of the book helps you build the foundation of every mac and cheese dish. The rest of the book helps you to piece together amazing additions. I received this book as a present, but every time I see it, I can 't help but pick it up and start ripping through to learn something new. It is highly recommended.

there are side dishes and their recipes in the book such as baby carrots in a sweet sauce and red potatoes with rosemary
He literally eats Mac and Cheese and Hot Dogs because he works all the time and I wanted to get him cooking a little more than that since we are getting an apartment soon. 90% of the main recipes include mac and cheese as a main factor, but don 't get scared when you think of desserts in a mac and cheese book. There are legit deserts that would go well with the meals. There are also side dishes and their recipes in the book, such as baby carrots in a sweet sauce and red potatoes with rosemary. I did not know exactly what to expect with this book, but not only do I love him in the kitchen, but he also loves it! Very yummy meals :

   Awesome
I tried every recipe I have so far, but I love them at paced intervals so that I don 't overindulge. They recommend using only whole milk for the base sauce, but I have tried both a mix of whole and skim and straight 2% and have not been disappointed. This book is my favorite!

Good Starting Place, but Somewhat Limited
This book was a good starting place for me to learn cooking mac and cheese, but I found it was ultimately limited. The book calls for a basic mixture that you use as the foundation for most of the recipes in the book. It does not talk a lot about different cheeses or how a cheese type mixes with another. Things that would make a book on this subject really useful and interesting ''. I keep the book, but use it often. For a new cook it is probably a really good investment. However, once you learn the basics, you 'll want more. That is fine, it means that your skills are growing!

   A really delicious book
The recipes are great, not just main dishes, but also sides and desserts are included. This is not a low calorie cookbook, but every recipe is worth making in it. With this one, you can't go wrong. Well spent money :

Great gift for Mac and cheese/Homeroom enthusiasts
If you have never been to Homeroom in Oakland, this is a great chance to try their very diverse Mandc recipes. This book has recipes that I have never seen in the restaurant, though I understand that they do rotate items on and off the menu.

Not a pro but I can be with this book 😁
I am not a big fan of Mac and cheese probably because I am from African-American, but my fiancé is West African and he loves anything with cheese. Mac and cheese is one of his favorite things to cook, so I have to learn how to cook American foods. I am not sure how it was supposed to taste, but he said it was pretty good and that he loves it. So, thank you. I had few challenges, like the soupy Mac sauce. But I had additional ingredients, so it was ok to toss the soupy sauce and make another. I did not add all the salt that the recipe suggested, because I thought it would have been too much. Nevertheless, thanks again.
