Love the Magic School Bus Books

The book Volcanoes is another example of a complicated process that is explained at a child's level in an educational and interesting way, as are the rest of the Magic School Bus books.

My magical 5 year old loves volcanoes so I decided to introduce him to the world of the 5 - year old school bus. He absolutely loves this book, as it has become a fast favorite. With Ms. Frizzle and co., you can never go wrong.

Not A Normal Magic School Bus Book
Derived From Web , Jun 10, 2018
While I love reading the magic school bus with my daughter, this is a little different than normal. Here is the format has changed and they went for more of a story, but based around science. There is some forced drama between the kids, with information thrown in. The lateral notes and the side pictures are also gone. The kids are also very aware of the situation and the bus is also referred to as a magic school bus where the other books were very subtle and the bus is referred to as old junk. I can not stay I like this one like the real magic school bus books.

Not Like The Originals
Derived From Web , Dec 27, 2017
In this book, I was very disappointed. When I purchased it, I did not realize that it was not written by Joanna Cole, the original author. This book is generally the script of an episode from the show and says this inside the front cover. Unlike Joanna Cole's books, there are no educational tidbits in the margins of each page. Half the story is of two students trying to find a lost book bag and when they finally arrive on the volcano, the educational information is sparse and extremely basic. I was also surprised to see the students bickering on the first page. I 'll be donating this one to Charity.
