   a little too graphic
The book on salmon spawning is graphic for our tastes, but we love the magic school bus. It led to some inevitable questions about where babies come from, but I would have preferred to wait for my daughter to be older. If you are comfortable speaking with your child about fertilization and where babies come from, it might be a good idea.

Magic School bus tv show tie in
We watched a TV episode about animal adaptation. I bought the book for my son to read, and it's a lovely book, really in depth, fascinating.

   Magic School Bus rocks!
Adding to the collection for future children. The Magic School Bus books are excellent. My kids learned a lot from them. Shipping is fast and there is unnecessary packaging.

Well done story, nicely illustrated, held the 4-6 yo attention throughout a single-session read aloud.
I read this book to the kids and they loved it. It was not as large as I expected. This edition had less balloons and asides to read. It was easier to read out loud in a story. The older style of Magic SB books has many balloon statements and side stories that are better for young readers.
