I bought it for my 20 year old daughter, who loves unicorns. She likes it and I am happier that my daughter spends her time reading! such a lovely book .

   Not a book for young children
I tried to like this book really ''. It was purchased for a 7 - year old girl who adores unicorns, and I thought that this might be fun for Grandma and her to read together. We tried it, but we couldn t get excited about the content. It goes on the shelf for later so.

   Highly recommended addition to your unicorn-lover’s collection!
My daughter loves unicorns, so this was a bit of a no-brainer, but I was a little hesitant as our home unicorn library is already pretty well stocked and I did not want to potentially muddy the waters for my 8 year old believer. Fear never! The illustrations are first gorgeous, in a colorful neo-folk style. The content is beautifully written with enchanting information about unicorns lore and traditional types of unicorns, including a world map showing their traditional habitats as well as remarkable locations of Magical Unicorn Society buildings. At the end, there are details for joining the society. Content-wise, this reminded me a bit of the Ology '' books, though without the artifacts and flaps and bits. Highly recommended addition to your unicorn collection!

   A beautiful Book
My 4 year old, Unicorn obsessed daughter carries this book everywhere she goes, I have been trying to get her to have the same love for books I have and I really think that this book has helped! She stares at it constantly, bypassing my ipad and my phone to look at the pictures and come up with her own stories. Really a great by for any unicorn fanatic!

   Absolutely LOVED this one!!!
In all, I am seriously impressed by this book. The fun and fabulous way Selwyn wrote about unicorns set the tone perfectly. He spends a little time talking about the different breeds - what they are known for, their special powers and histories. In between the species spotlights, there were sections on unicorn habitats and habits. Every page had these full-color illustrations. The official Handbook of the Magical Unicorn Society was a fun way to spruce up the genre, and I will definitely pick up a copy for my younger cousins!

   My daughter won’t put this book down.
My reluctant reader, who is 10, has read the book cover to cover in 5 days. She continuously gets her nose in the book. She is even making badges that say Unicorn Society ''. She makes bookmarks for her friends. Everyday she takes it to school. I love the illustrations, they are so beautiful. I need more of these books to further foster in my child a love of reading. I love this book so much! I initially received it as a birthday present for my daughter's teacher, and she brought it on a school trip, so that all the kids fell in love with it. At least three other children in my daughter's class have now the book.

I am so glad that someone has posted pictures of some of the pages on the inside of the book! I was hesitant to buy it otherwise ''. It is super cute with lots of fun information! My 10 year old daughter loves unicorns, so she was super excited about this book and absolutely loves it!

   Beautiful, detailed and magical- not a silly, nonsense book!
I don 't even know how to put this book into words how beautiful it is! It is full of lore and all things magical associated with unicorns. For real believers, it really caters to making unicorns seem young! Buying this on a Kindle or app would not be the same, the first book is too beautiful to not experience it first hand.
