Book Overview

From New York Times bestselling authors Timothy Keller and Kathy Keller comes a gorgeously packaged daily devotional that takes us on year-long journey into discovering the meaning of marriage

Marriage is the most profound human relationship there is. Coming to know and love your spouse is one of the most rewarding and wondrous things we can experience in life. But it is also one of the most difficult and painful. In this 365-day devotional, Timothy Keller and his wife of forty-three years, Kathy Keller, share powerful instructions on how to have a successful marriage. The Kellers draw from and expand upon lessons they first introduced in their book The Meaning of Marriage, offering stories, daily scriptures, and prayer prompts that will inspire anyone who wants to know God and love more deeply in this life.

It is a current ad depressing commentary on our weird culture. I could get this anywhere. Typically, I expected based and encouraging writing. Simply put, awful.
   Not Great
I read the meaning of marriage and expected this devotional to be just as helpful as the book. It is basically a collection of fictional stories and random scenarios with a Bible verse at the end and a few questions semi-related to the writing of that day. Neither my husband or myself were encouraged, challenged or motivated to continue reading after the first month.
   So negative! Do not buy!
Throw This Book Away '', because I did not want anyone else to get their hands on it. I love to help self-published books. I love all the types of books. This book had such a negative perspective on so many things that it was awful to read it every night.
Good for some, not for me
I read Tim Keller's book, The Meaning of Marriage '' and found it especially helpful in preparing myself for marriage. I recommend this book to Christians engaged, dating, single. This is neat for discussion between spouses, but we expected a more devotional based on scripture. This is mainly focused on bits and pieces of their previous book.
   Beautiful & Challenging
We are only a few weeks in and we are invested and humbled by this devotional.
   Very beneficial...
I love my husband and I love this devotional. We began it about a month after we married and we have gotten so much value from it.
The devotional bought the Bought before it was released. It was received and most of the devotional has been about singleness.
