   Great Foundational Exercises
Before we get to the point where we can say this book is truly inspirational, let me say this: Don't purchase it expecting to get 600+ different exercises. Many of the exercises are the same progressions of those exercises. Barrenas said the book included 20 different ways to perform a pushup. I am currently a student working toward my doctorate in physical therapy and I was simply looking for ways to progressregress the exercises my patients were doing, he said. I would recommend this book to beginners and to gym rats alike, because it presents concepts that many of us wouldn't even consider.

   don't read those other punk reviews - this book is da jaaam
If you think this is serious, you should buy the book. If you're looking to rebuild your body from back pain or joint pain or whatever, this is THE book for you. Barrera has tons of exercises and wise variations so you don't have to do any specialized training. The video also shows the correct posture and common mistakes that cause injuries. It also has *gasp* a ton of insane stretches! The book tells you which body part it stretches. i've been working with this book, along with regular chiromassageacupuncture, for about three years and i feel like i have a new body. I can do stuff now and not feel like I'm about to shatter my body, he said. love. It's just that they call it quits."

   An excellent summary
The book provides an excellent summary of more exercises than I ever knew. The pictures and descriptions clearly show how each exercise should be performed. Barrenas's book never explains how variations in performing different base exercises focus on different muscles. The combination of the two books is unbeatable, Simon said.

The Big Book is a font of concise and accurate information presented in an easy to understand format. The Big Book is my Principle Exercise and Fitness Reference.

   The ABC book for adults who really don't like to read
This is a big picture book for adults who don't wish to do extensive reading on health nutrition, muscle movement and even weight loss, ie they want the exercises thank you very much. I've got the book with the guys health and muscle and it's a cocktail to DIE for! It's great to see so many women using it, Mr. Powell said. It's all part of men's health - this woman buys it!

   Like the guy you laugh at
I have been scrawny my whole life, Beckham said. No longer. 1 on the list. It has everything I need - a good book, even the skinny guy like me. There are a number of prescribed workouts, and the scrawny to brawny has been good for me, he said. With only dumbbells, barbells, a weight bench, and an exercise mat, I feel great. Buyers beware: There are no bargains left to be found in this one.

Barrenas said the book has been "hugely helpful" in getting back into working out. I bought it thinking it would be a great guide for picking the right exercises for each muscle group. It also has some very helpful workout plans included, so I was pleasantly surprised to find it had some very helpful workout plans too. Highly recommend.

   Best workout book I own
I've purchased a half dozen recommended exercise books over the years—this one is better than all the rest. This book has hundreds of good exercises, with highly detailed pictures and explanations. Barrera's book can be customized to meet your personal needs, and can be used by others. Beginning Jan. 16, the six-week program will apply to men and women. Barrera said I've paid for personal training before, and the exercises that certified trainers taught in those sessions are all in this book. It is a five-star book that has everything you need in it! Whether you're a beginner or an expert, you can't go wrong with this book.
