Great Road Trip Planner
Derived From Web , May 22, 2022
I took 4 of these drives and were well worth the price of this book. Sure, you can find recommendations for free on the internet, but Reader's Digest calls for tried and true routes. This really added to the drive. I know you may be hesitant, but I say go ahead and read this book and buy it as you experience it. It is worth the money.

A great book so that you can take a small trip no matter where you are in the USA. I think that one might be available for Canada, so that I will have to get one.

Content excellent, no table of contents, missing section overviews, destroys useability
Derived From Web , May 22, 2022
The second section is the West Coast, the first Rocky Mountain. These two have at least an index of the covered routes, but there is no beginning index to tell you what page to find those two indices. Even worse, there are not even the regional indices from there! The index in the back helps if you know the name of what you are looking for, but if you buy this book to find places you may not have known or if you don 't know the exact name of what you want, you are out of luck. For example, you can not find the drives within a given state. This is just plain sloppy work, showing that the responsible people don 't care.

Best travel book I have ever purchased
Derived From Web , Jan 11, 2020
I am very pleased with this book ''. Today I got it and couldn t put it down. The layout is easy to understand and it tells you the best roads for picturesque views. What attractions are the best in the states? It breaks it down in regions and then breaks more details for the state within the region. I bought several travel books...I won 't need another. Also, it would be a great coffee table book, with awesome pictures.

Makes you want to travel
Derived From Web , Jun 15, 2019
Since we're thinking of travelling further afield with our camper trailer, I thought this book might give us some ideas. Not only did it grant us ideas, but NOW we want to get out and GO! Plus, it made me realize that as much as we love seeing places overseas, there is so much more to see in our own backyard. Some of the drives mentioned in this book have places to see I have never heard. Either you are RVing or take short road trips just to check out this book.

Great Book
Derived From Web , May 26, 2018
I sent this as a Christmas gift last year to some family members who are beginning to plan road trips with their grandkids. They traveled all over the world and loved this truly. What led me there were the reviews, and I'll add mine just. Also, they're under strict orders to let me know if they don 't like something, lol. This is a legit review, but still 2nd!

it's still a great book. Instead of the missing content table
Derived From Web , Jan 24, 2018
While it is true that a table of contents or an index is missing from the Kindle implementation, it is still a great book. Instead of the regional content table, it has 4 missing route overviews inside the book. Usability can be greatly improved by going through the book and adding bookmarks at all 4 region overviews, which cost me less than 15 minutes.
