Good book for teens!
Derived From Web , May 20, 2022
For young investors, great book! The authors use modern-day examples that teens can relate to. They also give advice on how to achieve long-term success. I first read it to make sure it was appropriate... I wish I was given this book as a teen!

This was purchased for our Grandson
Derived From Web , May 20, 2022
We bought it for our 12th birthday, Grandson. Before I gave it to him, I had a chance to check it out and it looks like a very good book for any child 12 or over. I do include a lot of physical information, but it does make it easy to understand. It does not talk to the child, but gives them good information about investments for their future.

Christmas Gift Box of Books
Derived From Web , May 20, 2022
This was a Christmas gift, along with a whole boxload of books for my 12 year old grandson. In the box were novels and non-fiction novels along with this book. I got all of them on Amazon at wonderful prices, they arrived in a beautiful condition and in plenty of time for the holiday. He started reading this one as soon as he took it out of the box set. One of the novels he already had, but he loved it so much that he was happy to have his own copy!

Here's hoping this teaches sensible investing
Derived From Web , Jan 22, 2022
My 16 year old nephew recently invested every last penny of his savings in Bit Coin and lost over half his money in a day when crypto took a tumble a few months ago, losing over $300. I figured it was am opportune time to teach about the diversification of asset classes - from what I have collected it looks like a solid book, so here is hoping he heads the advice of an expert speaking on a level aimed at his age.

Good foundations, but needs to be updated and made more current
Derived From Web , Jan 6, 2022
I read through this book before sharing with my teen and I have to say, although it does a good job of spelling the basic items such as setting goals, reviewing compounding goals, and how to potentially earn money, there are several things in the book that make it very dated. Already with the introduction, the fact that U2's latest CD has already made me groan that I was going to lose my teen on reading this before he even started. Additionally, it does not take the various tech savvy avenues that teens could potentially succeed or fail tremendously, which must be taken into account.
