This was a beautiful, well written book. We love all books in this series. We love all the books in this series. However, there were quite a few fairly obvious typos in the book, which was surprising to see. Hopefully, they clean this up in reprints! Still would purchase for friends and recommend. It is otherwise wonderful!

This is a fantastic book about the universe and a great book about it. It is a great book to introduce children to space exploration, see if it sticks as something they are very interested in. With all that is going on with the Perseverance Mars rover, SpaceX and NASA going to the Moon and Mars and the Hubble and hopefully soon the Webb telescope, there is going to be a lot of space-related news and this is a great way to get kids excited about it, I think. It has a ton of information in it, so that they should be able to keep coming back to this book over and over again if it interests them, which is most likely with how pretty the book is!

Beautiful book but some wear

Inside, the book is lovely. Outside it shows wear in the areas I took photos of. I couldnt exchange it and I don 't want a refund bc I want the book. Just don 't want a damaged copy. I love looking at these when I am relaxing and reading to my kiddos. If ur reading is helpful, seller, if ur reading please help. The exchanges offered were for items I already have. I'll buy it again and return if you bubble wrap the book before putting it in the box. It is loosely thrown in the Amazon box set. This way it wont ship unscuffed that way.

I bought this for my godson to accompany a marble set of the planets so that he can learn more about planets and space. The art is wonderful in the book. Information is interesting and it does not say too much or not enough. The cover is nice and the hardcover is a hardcover. My only complaint is that the gold sides of the pages were scratched, making the side of the book when closed less attractive. It is a minor issue, but did take away from some of the aesthetics.

This is one of the most wonderful books we ever received. Exactly in a great quality, it was made perfectly. The content is illuminating, easy for young children to understand. I purchased two copies of the Universe Books, one for my daughter to complete her golden collection, and the other is for a six-year-old boy as a birthday gift. Both kids love it a lot, perhaps even more than the animals and nature books. It would be a great gift for children who love reading. It is highly recommended.
