The intro by original author of series worth the price!
If you are a mother who read the series, these make excellent books for your daughters who love to read and is like a great mystery! The author is Mildred Wirt Benson, a ghost writer from the MidWest. She is the first graduate of Journalism at the University of Iowa, writing an introduction to this book, but still evokes the spirit of the books, curling up and devouring these books on a rainy weekend afternoon.
Now this one was tough to figure out.
Out of the three other Nancy Drew books, I read this one the hardest to figure out. The books are good written and well suited for light reading. This book was suspenseful in the sense that I had a hard time figuring out who the culprit was. I never really thought that '' that person was the culprit. Loran thank you for your time, feel free to comment on this review, Michele.
   A book full of mystery
From reading the first 3 chapters, the book begins to become confusing and confussing in the mind. This book does not contain the best or average wonder and thrill as the other Nancy Drew books. You will enjoy this book only very much if you are... * a person who can be really uncomfortable and can wait a long time without getting bored * a person who likes taking risks and books with risk takers in them * a person who likes danger If you are not a person with all theese guiltys, you will enjoy this book very much. I recommend that you read Nancy Drew and the secret of the old attic.
Purchased as gift for my granddaughter.
Then I was fond of them and bought them for my granddaughter.
Missing diamonds and a Nancy Drew twin
Hunting for missing diamonds and a wise look-a-like makes this book a page turner.
   Decent, but not my favorite
The story was suspenseful, but the Nancy impersonator was a little too much. I am glad that I borrowed it from the library and did not buy it.
   I Absolutely Loved It!!!!
This book was one of my favorite Nancy Drew books! I love Nancy Drew!!!!!!!!!!!
   Nancy does it again!!!!!
So soo brave Nancy! Though she knows that danger can almost follow her anywhere, she still loves any mystery that Keene throws at her! I sometimes wish I was Nancy Drew! )
   Lots of mystery
I enjoyed these books as a child and now as an adult.
“I must outwit my impersonator before she outwits me.”
At the wedding of her friend Emily Willoughby, Nancy and her friend Helen are invited to be bridesmaids. They travel to Emily, a colonial inn owned by Lilac Inn and her fiance. But when they arrive, they find that the inn is besieged with strange and suspicious events. Later, Nancy Drew's valuable diamonds are stolen and a Emily impostor runs loose. Nancy will now have to expose the diamonds, find the inn's saboteurs and outwit her double! I absolutely loved this volume! The story is very complex and the plot is engaging. It is very difficult to put the book down! Helen's chemistry with Nancy is very enjoyable. The writing is wonderful and the illustrations are very nice. Overall, this is an excellent Nancy Drew mystery. M. B. :
