But then Omri and his family move to an old country farmhouse that they inherited from a distant relative, and he unearths a faded journal hidden in the thatched roof. To Omri's utter amazement, the notebook was written by his wicked great-great-aunt Jessica Charlotte on her deathbed. Even more astonishing: It reveals how the cupboard and its magic were created--and changed the destiny of his family,
In trying to right a wrong done in the past, Omri finds he has no choice but to break the promise he made to himself. The magical cupboard is opened once more

Dissapointed 2 X
Derived From Web , May 23, 2022
I have been disappointed with used books 2 x. Both had library stickers and several owner names in the books. I cannot recommend buying new books, I was going to give these as a Christmas gift, but I can not give these, I will try to find the books used at a reasonable price and donate them to a children's organization.

While not PC, grandson loves reading the series
Derived From Web , Dec 8, 2018
Some of these raise PC issues around native Americans ; these stories don 't belittle the native characters and the assumed superior views held by the cowboys in these stories are called into question in the texts. My grandson and my granddaughters enjoy reading these a lot. cl :
