These books are the cutest : We have many from the series and my daughter loves them all. She goes into the 1st grade and can read most of these books herself. Love the element of tradition that they add to important events and holidays!

Cute and simple 4th of July book - read to 2-3 year old kiddos
Derived From Web , Jul 20, 2019
Read this for my 2 and 3 year old summer camp class for 74. Very common and simple story about the Fourth of July festivities... lots of rhyming... follows the rhythm of Twas the night before Christmas. The book is on the smaller side, which can make a difference if you are reading to a large group of children. If so, be prepared for I can t see '' incessantly!

Love "the Night Before" books...
Derived From Web , Jul 8, 2019
4 July Book : Fun that my 5 year old loves. Not happy that it showed up bent in a couple ways, so the book and cover have crease marks so that it looks trashed.

Liked that it felt more of a story
Derived From Web , May 17, 2019
I liked that this book felt more like a story with a plot and then listed random activities or events. The day before they dreamed up decor and put up fireworks. They had a barbecue and were adapted to a rainstorm. They worried if the rain would stop so that there would be fireworks, etc. In my opinion, the best book of July 4th was aimed at the younger crowd.
